The sailing boat Makeva is an amateur construction with the plans by Caroff. It’s an 11 meters long sailing boat and 3,80 meters wide. It’s a comfortable boat, with 4 solar panels for electricity. We provide you with a canoe, flippers, masks and snorkels, fishing gear and a dinghy with electric motor to take you ashore. We welcome you on a boat that has been traveling for 8 years for a beautiful cruise in Greece. Let’s have fun.
Our experiment in sailing with the boat Makeva in Greece
Thousands miles sailed in 8 years, and many people welcomed aboard. We’ve spent three seasons in the Balearics, and this year it’s the third season that we are in Greece. Over the past 8 years, we’ve visited the French and Italian coasts, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Calabria, Malta, Tunisia, the Balearics, Spain, Morocco, Albania, Montenegro and Greece.
The inside of the boat
There are 3 cabins, including one for the skippers, a saloon, and a large galley with everything you need to cook, a fridge and a filtered fountain Berkey for drinking water. 400 litres of water in two tanks. A water maker and 4 solar panels to provide the electricity we need to be comfortable. We always eat outside in the cockpit.
